Morrison Utility Services Scoops Two Awards at National Skills Academy for Power Awards

‘Power Graduate of the Year’ and ‘Services to the Power Industry’ accolades handed to Morrison Utility Services’ professionals

 

Morrison Utility Services, the leading utility services provider in the UK, has received two honours from the National Skills Academy for Power at its People in Power Awards Dinner on 9th March.

Seamus Kennedy, an Assistant Project Engineer working on the South West Electricity Alliance which provides Extra High Voltage services to National Grid, was named Power Graduate of the Year at the prestigious event.  Since joining Morrison Utility Services in 2009 from Manchester University, Seamus has been instrumental in creating the current graduate scheme offered by the business. 

Electrical Safety Manager, Bob Burnham, was also honoured for his Services to the Power Industry.  Bob began his career in 1966 with Eastern Electricity and joined Morrison Utility Services in 2000.  As an electrical engineering professional, Bob has played an active role in the development of the National Skills Academy for Power since its inception.
